The invention discloses a sweeping dust collection device for a cleaning robot. The sweeping dust collection device comprises an outer shell, a motor and a sweeping device. The sweeping device comprises a sweeping brush which is provided with a connection shaft, the motor is mounted in the outer shell, and a transmission shaft of the motor is connected with the connection shaft through a connection pin to drive the sweeping brush to rotate. The sweeping dust collection device is remarkably effective in clearing of stubborn dirt on ground and convenient to popularize.
