The invention belongs to the technical field of high-polymer materials, and particularly relates to a polycarbonate composite material and a method for preparing the same. The polycarbonate composite material comprises, by weight, 60-88 parts of PC (polycarbonate) resin, 10-30 parts of glass fibers, 0.2-2 parts of abrasion resistance modifiers, 1-5 parts of glass fiber soakage agents, 0.1-0.3 part of coupling agents, 0.2-0.5 part of heat stabilizers, 0.2-0.5 part of antioxidants and 0.2-1 part of processing auxiliaries. The polycarbonate composite material and the method have the advantages that the polycarbonate composite material contains systems with the specific glass fibers and the related auxiliaries, accordingly, different components in the multi-component systems can be sufficiently plasticized, the mixing properties of the different components can be improved, the mechanical performance of the components can be obviously enhanced, the polycarbonate composite material is high in hardness, strength and transparency under the synergistic effects of various compositions with specific contents, and effects of the polycarbonate composite material and the method are obviously superior to effects in the prior art.
