The method includes: determination of chromatographic conditions: taking octadecyl silane bonded silica gel as the filling agent, adopting methanol-water in a volume ratio of 73:27 as the mobile phase, and setting a detection wavelength of 294nm, a column temperature at 35DEG C, a flow rate of 1ml/min, and a number of theoretical plates of not less than 3000 in terms of magnolol peak; extraction condition: taking about 0.5g of the product, performing precise weighing, and placing it in a conical flask with cover, adding 25ml of methanol precisely, performing weighing, conducting ultrasonic treatment for 30min, compensating weight, performing filtering, and taking the subsequent filtrate; and determination: determining the total content of magnolol and honokiol in the stomach conditioning pill of not less than 9.53mg/g.
