According to the invention, a television remote control function is added to the intelligent mobile phone, a user can find a target location on which an operation is required to be performed through the intelligent mobile phone quickly and accurately, and thus the television set is controlled in a remote manner. Therefore, the technical scheme provided by the invention realizes more accurate and more effective control for the television set, the user experience on the aspect of remote control for the television set is improved, and constant switching of the eyes between a screen of the television set and a remote controller when the user performs remote control on the television set is avoided at the same time.
