本发明公开了胃肠安合并蒿甲醚在制备治疗截疟改善胃肠道症状方面的应用，所述的改善胃肠道症状指的是：胃肠安缩短了胃肠道症状的病程。特别是改善胃肠型疟疾恶心、呕吐、腹痛、腹泻等症状。实验结果表明胃肠安丸合并蒿甲醚肌肉注射的治疗方案，在截疟提高疟原虫杀伤率的同时显著改善了胃肠道症状，缩短了病程，并起到抗疟的辅助功效。其机理可能是因其具有杀菌、芳香解痉止痛、胃肠粘膜屏障保护功能所致。
摘要（英）：

The invention discloses the application of Weichang Anwan in combination with artemether in treating the gastrointestinal form of malaria. According to improved gastrointestinal symptoms, the Weichang Anwan shortens the disease course of gastrointestinal symptoms, and especially improves the symptoms of the gastrointestinal form of malaria, such as nausea, vomit, stomachache, diarrhoea and the like. Experimental results show that, in the malaria preventing field, the treatment regimen of Weichang Anwan in combination with artemether in the intramuscular injection manner improves the plasmodium kill rate, simultaneously improves the gastrointestinal symptoms significantly, shortens the disease course and plays a secondary efficacy in preventing malaria. The mechanisms of the application are might composed of sterilization, aromatic spasmolysis, relieving pain, shielding and protecting the gastrointestinal mucous membrane, and the like.
