The invention discloses a battery of an electric vehicle and a battery bin. The battery bin is positioned in the electric vehicle; the battery is mounted in the battery bin and is matched with the battery bin through a tenon and a mortise; one of the battery and the battery bin is provided with the tenon while the other one is provided with the mortise; the tenon is placed and locked in the mortise; and the battery is locked in the battery bin. The battery of the electric vehicle and the battery bin can be convenient to lock and unlock, are convenient to change and reliable in connection during locking, and can meet requirements of electric charging of electric vehicles.
