The invention provides traditional Chinese medicine for treating intestinal diarrhea and a preparation method thereof. The invention relates to traditional Chinese medicine which can be used for quickly and effectively treating acute and chronic intestinal diarrhea without generating side effects and can be combined with Western medicine to treat hemorrhoids prolapsed and female uterine prolapsed, wherein the prescription comprises raw rhubarb and cooked rhubarb prepared by edible sodium carbonate; the components are prepared, processed and combined to an oral liquid traditional Chinese medicine preparation in a proportion.
