The chain adhesion preventing device comprises a driving chain wheel seat and a driving shaft; a coupler is arranged above the driving shaft; the driving chain wheel seat is movably connected with the driving shaft; the driving shaft is fixedly connected with a driving chain wheel; a single-row heavy-duty roller chain with straight side plates is sleeved on the driving chain wheel; the driving chain wheel seat is provided with a chute; a flange of the driving chain wheel is supported by relieving teeth on a double shovel; the double shovel is provided with a vertical sliding plate, and is inserted into the chute through the vertical sliding plate; the driving chain wheel seat also comprises steel plate strips and connecting levers; two reliving teeth on the double shovel are vertically and symmetrically welded on two sides of the lower part of the vertical sliding plate; relieving tooth arcs are processed on the front parts of the reliving teeth; and the radian of the reliving tooth arcs is matched with the outer cylindrical surface of the flange of the driving chain wheel. The chain adhesion preventing device is simple in structure and convenient to manufacture, and solves the problem that a chain adhesion preventing device cannot reliably prevent chain adhesion.
