The invention relates to a high molecular material for manufacturing guide sleeves. Modified bismaleimide resin is used as a matrix adhesive; fabric and polytetrafluoroethylene fiber in polyesters constitute a reinforcing base material; and polytetrafluoroethylene, metal oxides, inorganic minerals and the like are added as solid filler. The high molecular material is prepared by the following steps: coating adhesive on the material, baking, reeling on a reel machine, increasing the pressure for die assembly, and curing at the temperature of 100-150 DEG C to mold, thereby obtaining the guide sleeve. The friction factor of the guide sleeve is 0.18-0.25 under the self-lubrication conditions and 0.01-0.02 when being lubricated by adding water; the compressive strength is 245-364 Mpa; and the guide sleeve can resist high and low temperature from -40 DEG C to 250 DEG C. The non-metal self-lubrication guide sleeve, which is made of the high molecular material and cured at a moderate temperature, can be used for solving the problems of pollution prevention, wear resistance and self-lubrication at -40-250 DEG C.
