The invention provides a detergent for a printed circuit board, which comprises solubilizer, surfactant, defoamer and pure water; wherein, the weight percentage of the solubilizer is 3 percent to 8 percent; the weight percentage of the surfactant is 5 percent to 15 percent; the weight percentage of the defoamer is 2 percent to 7 percent; the rest is the pure water. The detergent is water-soluble and has good cleaning effect on the residual pollutants on the printed circuit board. The detergent is low in corrosion, uneasy to damage electronic devices on the printed circuit board, convenient in treatment and discharge of the discarded detergent and accords with the requirements of environmental protection. The detergent also has the advantage of reasonable formula design, simple preparation process and low cost.
